The Grades
Below the options bar, you will find the grades. It was designed to feel like a traditional gradebook, with the students down the left-hand side and the assignments (or, days) across the top.
Grade Options
In the top-left corner of the gradebook, you will find the school term, display options and the class average. The checkboxes can be ticked, to show letters or percentages, or check both to show both letters and percentages.
The Students
The student bar shows various details about the student. Name, average, and if hovered over, the student's full name.
The AssignmentsAcross the top of the grades, you will find the assignments. To add an assignment, click the green arrow at the end of the assignments. You can also just start typing grades in an empty column to start a new assignment. To edit details about an assignment, click the blue pencil icon below the assignment's name. This will display an editor where the assignment's name, type, points, and due date can be changed. Click Save to save the details and go back to the grade grid.
The Grades
To begin entering grades, simply start typing into a cell and hit Enter to Save. Using your arrows keys to move to another cell will not save your changes. If you would like to change the type of the current assignment. Simply type the shortcut for the type you would like. For example, if you were entering homework grades, simply press the star key (*) to change the type to Quiz. Or if you would like a test, press the dash key. (-)
The Graph
Below the grades grid, a graph updates in real-time as you enter grades. It displays the current student's average in comparison with the class's average, over time. To hide the student's or the class's average from the graph, click the respective legend on the left. To hide the grade graph entirely, click Hide Graph.
